Global Issues and Trends in Healthcare
I was asked to create a proposal on something that has not been tried before on the topic of Poverty, Hunger, and Food Insecurities. I used the project I worked on in Guatemala as inspiration. Why reserve this project in just one school? This is a project that can be shared to impact other communities within Guatemala. I created a DIY Video on how to create your own "huerto". This video was created to be shared with anyone interested in adopting the same project.

What makes this project different from any tried before?
This is a project that does not require funding. Many organizations fund families and children but funding eventually runs out. This project also allows for children to contribute to their households. Children will be able to engage in a fun and easy project at school; while it provides them education it also allows them to bring home the vegetables they grow in school.
